To meditate does not mean
to fight with a problem.
To meditate means
to observe.
Your smile proves it.
It proves that you are
being gentle with yourself,
that the sun of awareness
is shining in you,
that you have control
of your situation.
You are yourself,
and you have acquired
some peace.
Thich Nhat Hanh (Born 1926)

Love it, when one meditates, you can hear what your heart is telling you.
God bless my friend.
Yes dear Carmen. When we hear what lies within our hearts, and act from it, we act wisely.
God bless you greatly.

Mindfulness is to observe whereas meditation is to attain yoga
or oneness with the self (samadhi). You are yourself completely once in
the state of enlightenment.
Sonnet To Samadhi by Dave.
Experiencing heaven what a treat
Merging with object of meditation
Even while on earth this is a feat
During state of intense concentration
Replacing duality with oneness
Without knowingness, process of knowing
Full absorption in a state so timeless
Devoid of activity, no changing
Back to the source of thought so expansive
Then in trance there seems only emptiness
Ecstatic consciousness so pervasive
Where everything does exist in fullness
Leaving the mind in such total calmness
With joy and an expanded awareness
Very good Dave. Bless you.
