Playing with the Wind in the Evening. A brilliant photo with a touching story. Inspirational.

A long time favourite of mine at Flickr,
this amazing photograph caused quite
a stir back in 2006. Was it art or was
it a photo? How did Hugues Michel pull
it off? Eventually Hugues explained:

“This picture is a composition of two images :
first I shot the sun with a telescope, so this
is the real sun, then I shot the boy. He is one
of my young pupils, and I think that playing
with a kite is just a way for him to forget his
painful life… So this picture is a tribute to him,
and believe me, he deserves it…”

Lovely tribute! May God bless and guide the
boy and may he grow into a great man.
