The 1971 Imagine music video!
The late, great John Lennon and The Plastic Ono Band
were at their best in the Imagine album which I
purchased as a cassette on its day of release.
I had no idea then of the monumental influence this
great song would exert on future generations.
Let us all imagine a world full of love and peace!
Philip
IMAGINE (Lyrics by John Lennon)
Imagine there’s no Heaven
It’s easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today
Imagine there’s no countries
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace
You may say that I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world
You may say that I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will be as one

I love John.
Yes Donna, John was definitely deep and often inspired. I cannot judge Yoko Ono as I am not in a position to. But you may have a point. Bless them both and bless you. I will post more Lennon in due course. Philip
